2011 Ramadhan Iftaar Fund - Final Appeal:

Repeating our efforts of past 17 years, CAI is assisting in providing poor families with Iftaar support this coming blessed month of Ramadhan. Our reach will include feeding programs for the poor and destitute in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka.

We are US$32,000 short going into the start of the holy month, please help; I am certain we will all play our parts to make this Ramadhan a little easier for those who struggle to survive. May Allah (S) immensely bless you for your kindness and generosity.

2011 Ramadhan Funds Status

CAI Opens Girls Orphanage In Sirsi, India:

After many challenges and frustrating delays, CAI is happy to have opened doors to a badly needed 2nd girls orphanage in India; at Sirsi, UP, this is CAI 5th orphanage in India. 14 girl orphans have begun staying at a fully renovated facility in Sirsi town for a total of 30 eventually. A hearty jazaak'Allah to all donors who were generous with their finances, may Allah bless and reward you.

14 Classroom Extension At Sirsi School Complete:

I am happy to report completion of 14-classroom construction at our Sirsi High School in UP, India. The school caters for 1,300 poor students, some who were studying in cramped space in school corridors. This is a model school, exceptional in a village environment with unequalled opportunities for a child to pursue a fulfilling, challenging, quality education.
